Couldn't take it anymore so I gave up and bought a fan...went to the store with a wet towel on my head...lol

92 heat index here!!! I was painting in the garage and that's after the lawn cutting and helping neighbors plant flowers...I am pooped!

That's crazy, we don't even get that heat here in the summer.  If it gets to 75 we turn the a.c. on.

We've had some short stretches of super hot weather...in about 1996, it was so hot here in WA for about 10 days that we had to put treated ice cubes in the fish tank...still lost most of Thing1's fish.

But the south is already heating up.  Thing1 said South Carolina is generally in the 60's during the winter and by Spring, in the 80s.  He and his family went to a water park today it was so hot.

It's really heating up in southern California too.  Our daughter is happy to be up here on a short trip as she likes the cool..........but not the rain!  It was raining last night and early this morning but it now looks as if the sun is coming out.

it's now in the seventies it rained all last night.

 when I went out this morning there were some trees down and it's raining all day today and hopefully it'll dry up by tomorrow we needed it...
