Beautiful white Dogwood from my last home.

How pretty.  Our little dogwood is chugging along, but no bracts yet.

I have to wait till tomorrow to do more planting, as I have to clear the spot for the new tree to go.

I won't get a chance to see the white birch flowering tree in the back not this year maybe it'll happen later I don't know.

I am hoping to grab up some rhodies and azaleas to plop out in the forest.  I want to put in at least one gingko and several more cedars or firs...but the next big project will be moving 16 emerald greens (arborvitae) and plopping them back in along the property line.  Both hubby and I hate them out in front of the main lawn, and I want to put in burning bush, red twig dogwood, and some euyonmous or varigated boxwood...

I also want to have a representation of all 4 seasons among my forest trails...in stone and wood art.  I saw this the other day and fell in love, but at $1500, I'm going to have rethink Persephone as my Spring goddess.

Lovely pic.  I've been away from home for a couple of days and very grateful that the rain stopped.  I can't wait to get out in the garden but the forecast is rain again tomorrow.  So many delayed projects.
