Right on schedule to the day!

Our first hummingbird has arrived. :-)

That's so strange as we've had them all winter and we really have had the worst winter that I can remember.  My plants like azaleas and lithodora were in full colorful bloom last year in March and they are struggling to come out now.  This was the first sunny day where I could go into the garden and work today and I'm whacked as I haven't built up to it yet.  We even had quite a frost this morning and I have Gerber daisies sitting on the deck ready to go into pots.  I did it anyway and hope they will survive.

I love that we have them year round.  The Rufous fly south every winter, but our little Anna's stay with us, even in the harshest weather.

Maybe I have been noticed but I haven't seen any Strange Birds in Memphis I'm seeing Cardinals and sparrows nothing else
 when I went to the park I did see it a flock of duck or wild geese flying in the air but that's it.
