It's coming down hard today.

Apparently, we have a one day reprieve.  Sunny today, rainy again tomorrow.
Yesterday, there was actually a tornado in our area.

We got a lot of roof and trim damage last month from hail. Possible more storms today but so far just heavy rain.

Finally got up to a day without rain and clear and sunny even though there was a visible frost on the workshop roof.  Pulled on my old jeans and sweatshirt and got out there right after breakfast.  Hubby was mowing and edging and I was weeding and cutting.  I have never seen so much yellow moss in the flower beds and it just pulls up like a rug but the weeds among all the ground cover are bad.  I spent over two hours just pulling and I'm feeling it this afternoon in my arm. 

I re-did several bird feeders and I have to turn my attention to the big stainless bird feeder that I keep topping up.  The sunflower seeds at the bottom look moldy and I will have to empty and clean the whole thing out.  It's so big.  I did all the little ones and they had a lot of damp and moldy seeds stuck in the corners.  I made new hummingbird nectar as it goes so fast.  They still haven't touched the new feeder with the red store bought nectar and just gobble up the sugar water I boil up.

I came in at noon, took a shower and made a quick sandwich and then we took Hannah for a walk.  It was lovely day and everyone was out, walking, cycling or gardening.
