You do realize that according to Mulsims, the ENTIRE Quran is the WORD OF GOD, right?

So when a person reads the Quran, that person is reading words that GOD gave to the writers
- the words that GOD WANTED US TO KNOW.

According to Islamic theology, the entire Quran was recited to Muhammad
and imprinted upon his memory by God's highest ranked Angels -
those angels revisited Muhammad periodically to ensure that he still had the words exactly right.

Muhammad recited the Quran to scribes from memory -
imprinted by God and channeled through his angels.

Sounds about as reasonable as the claims made about the Bible.

A prominent Indian cleric actually said it, not Gandhi.

{something to the effect of "I like your Christ but not you Christians, you are not like him.")

But the sentiments expressed were well-founded.
