Notice that Hillary Clinton is specifically named, but there's no mention at all of Bernie Sanders. Is there, Local5th? No. Of course there isn't! The general consensus was that Hillary Clinton would win the 2016 presidential election, not Bernie Sanders. Apparently,  what you don't "get" is the fact that Putin's intent was to help Trump win the election, not Bernie Sanders.

No mention of Trump either in that specific sentence was there. Putin was a anybody but Clinton type of guy. Had Bernie beat Hillary he would have preferred him over Trump..

apparently Local has overlooked the revealed fact that the Russians were targeting Sanders.

in fact, aesopsretreat right wingers were sharing a number of the fake news site stories generated by the Russians.

all with the knowledge participation of jim.  unless he wasn't paying attention.
