Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength

« on: 02 16, 17, 04:42:41:PM » Reply

The monopoly game at the markets has started up already.  I swore I would never take the time to do it again but after all my groceries had been checked out I was handed a 'monopoly board' and 15 tickets (each ticket has 4 spots for each prize on the monopoly board) and I couldn't stop myself.  It's like doing homework and the temptation to do it is bolstered by some of the prizes - like a million dollars or a $35,000.00 vehicle.  I did it for the 3 months plus it ran last year and couldn't even win a $5.00 grocery credit.  I already only need one more ticket to get that this time - but it's never going to happen, or will I get the 4th ticket to complete the prize of $25,000.00 - I have got 3 tickets towards that too.

Safeway and Albertsons are the markets that are doing it where I live.  Does anyone else here participate in this game at the grocery store?

None of my 3 stores do that. I would play if they did.

At least it doesn't cost anything to have a go.

We have it at Safeway too.

Since I only do "major" shopping about once a month, I had 62 tickets last Saturday, LOL.

I just finished them up this morning.  The only things I've won so far are coupons, a $5 fandango coupon (had to enter 10 winning ticket numbers to get that one) and a free bagel, LOL.

It is like homework and a jigsaw puzzle at the same time.  But I have to look at it like Luminosity, keeps the mind sharp and I know I need that.

This week has been the week in Hell at work and tonight will be even rougher, 6 plane moves and 2 resets and with all the BS going on, I'm past spent.  I told my boss last night I was feeling a scratchy throat coming on and he yelled "I'm not approving any vacation time for tomorrow", LOL...(I have no sick leave so my only option would be to get an approved vacation day)...LOL

I can see the light of Saturday, but it sure looks a long way off.  Maybe I'll get hubby to stop at Safeway tonight after work to get a cupcake or something and get another ticket?  LOL

That cupcake could get you 2 more monopoly tickets. Lol.  I only need one more to get $5 grocery award!

The only problem with the game is it draws you into the store more often, LOL.

I keep a running grocery list, when it gets big enough, I shop.  If we run out of fresh veggies or I need an extra something to bake or make dinner, we usually grab it on the way home from work, since the Safeway is 24 hours here and is the last store out of town.  But when the hubby sees the Monopoly "bonus" sticker on the shelves, he tends to grab things we don't need...that's how they sucker you, by getting husbands involved, LOL>

Hubby won't have anything to do with it but he'll help me spend the money when I win......fat chance.  Also, I now have lots of tickets to go online to their website to play.  So far they are piling up next to my computer, but I'm trying not to be tempted.

That's how I got the Fandango $5 and the $5 off $50 or more at the store.

I had a huge stack and just sat one afternoon and entered them all, it only took about 20 minutes
