That I would kick this bug without any more medicine, especially the expensive inhaler that was waiting for me to pick up at my pharmacy.  The cough was gradually going but a few nights ago I was still bothered by a dry cough and getting breathless.  I reluctantly went and got the prescribed inhaler and grumbled at the cost of $100.00 for it, to which the pharmacist replied, "lucky you have insurance or it would have cost you $400.00."  What!!!  It was difficult enough assembling the thing and I took one puff before I went to bed.  That was a few nights ago and I haven't used or coughed since.  Is it a miracle or was my cough just ready to go and I should have just held on a little longer?

Wow, expensive, but is it worth the peace of mind being able to sleep again?

I am just aghast how expensive meds are, even with insurance.  It's why I had to drop my migraine medication...$265 for the copay?  They're nuts.

I really don't know if it's that much of a miracle that 2 sprays was all I needed and I feel so much better.  I think I should have waited it out a bit longer because it has side effects and one of the warnings is to check with your doctor if you have glaucoma which I was diagnosed with quite a few years ago.  I guess I will still take the appointment on March 9th with the pulmonary specialist.
