Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

I spent all day cutting back and exposing my trail along the east side of the yard.  The plan is to create a path for the John Deere so hubby can drive all the grass clippings and yard waste down to the furthest east corner where I'm creating a compost pile.  I managed to get about 40 feet of it done.  I'm to the most dense area now, so I'll have to get the Cub out to chop back the rest of the blackberries, ivy, and ground cover.  I toted the rocks from under all the deadfall and we'll finish it up with a nice coat of gravel.  Still a lot to do, but it sure felt good to expend some negative energy.  I also managed to get the rest of the mess of blackberries and ivy up from around the front end of the yard by the house, what a mess.  This area will eventually be another garden.

Next week we're cutting back the apple trees and I'll probably make a trip to Flowerworld to start picking out new trees...love my trees !!!

It sounds like you have taken full advantage of the break in the awful weather we've been having.  Good for you and it's great to be working on your own land and getting it all cleaned up.  Looking good!
Ozzie must be loving his new playground too.

That cedar is more than 100 years old.  The "elephant" limb is likely an offshoot that occurred after the entire top of the tree crashed down across it decades ago.  There are now two very strong trunks that have grown out of the remainder of the stump, from about 15 feet above the ground.  It is really cool.  We have a western White Pine in the same area that has the same kind of huge limb and that likely occurred when the cedar fell across it as well.

We have to call the power company about having several of the limbs of the pine taken out as they protrude into the street and power lines.  I will try to get some photos of the gnarly trunk on that one Wednesday...going to have to take a day off because Ozzie has surgery scheduled that day.

Luv...just like an elephant...it goes down easier when you take small bites.

This is a big job and will have to be done in stages, but if I keep up with all this, I can get the overgrown areas under control.

In the woods last night...we heard a fox screaming for a mate...it was so cool and kind of scary at the same time. If I can upload it later, I will.
