Many businesses like Chipotle and Starbucks discourage patrons from carrying guns. One restaurant in Louisiana, however, is offering a 10 percent discount to those who are armed.

Kevin Cox, the owner of Bergeron's restaurant, joined "Fox and Friends Weekend" this morning and explained that it's long been customary for restaurants to give discounts to police officers for added safety and protection at the establishment.

Cox said he realized that he also felt that added security when others were armed, as well, so he decided to implement the discount.

So far, Cox said, it's been a huge success, with lunch sales up 25 percent. He's also received lots of positive feedback and encouragement from the community.

As for the safety at Bergeron's?

"I have no crime. None at all."

 Here in WV we used to see persons Open carry --Often,,  Now we dont Need CCW Permits and I dont recall seeing an armed citizen in the last 6 mts....  No increase in Crime either !!


I have never carried a gun ,,But Then Im in the country and dont travel into bad areas where I need to CCW!

Same for me...unless I go to the democrat controlled areas of Wisconsin...I don't need a firearm. But any store posting a sign...no gun allowed...I will avoid.
