Disappointing holiday fair...

Every year I have gone to a local Holiday craft fair...every year it gets more difficult to find parking...this year, they decided to have shuttles from other schools to the venue...all the lots at the shuttle stops were full.
I spent nearly an hour trolling the parking lot near the school to get a spot, just got lucky...of course, my favorite booth, the snowman people, was just about sold out by the time I got there...I did manage to get one small print to add to my collection, done by a local artist who is a friend and was my kids teacher, found two different, local honeys, for my honey and two lined rain covers for Ozzie...but other than that, I didn't get any new Christmas decor, which is devastating...I look forward to it every year...

Color me sad...

But, one bright spot, was meeting this talented new artist...

Lol takn, I set out for our local big holiday bazaar and gave up trying to get a parking space.  We are just getting people coming into our small towns in droves.  They are building like crazy around here.

I love his vibrant colors.  If the themes were right, some of his work would be great in my kitchen.  I wanted to get his print called "the freeze", but he only had it in postcard size at the show.  It would fit well in my guest bath, that's all done in seafoam and ice blue, with photos of winter mountain scenes...

I like the Running River Falls.  Trouble is I have too much on the walls as it is and if I started changing everything at this point, I don't know when I'd stop.
