Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Was clearly an issue raised and solved by our founders. They knew having the electoral college was the correct process, albeit somewhat imperfect, it eliminated the type of liberal frenzy we see today. Elections would be determined by the more populated states while ignoring those less so.

Once again we see the founders with futuristic vision...

It's the same way that Harry Reid, elected by an even smaller proportion of people, can control the entire Senate.   Or, that Rhode Island can have the same, two senator, representation there as California.  But, the mindless partisan hacks have no issue with that.

Of course the Clinton Crime Family won the popular vote with 3,000,000+ illegal votes.

All states get one vote per senator...as well one vote for each DC congressman. That is why Trump needed 270/  Obviously Cal or NT will get more electoral votes than say RI or Wyoming.

It keeps the high population centers from controlling the election.  Which could prevent a serious problem. As evidenced by the Trump win.

One might think that with Hillary's lock on large urban populations that she would have won..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....

I'm good takn; just had to rehab from the endless flow of liberal bloviation, prophetic innacurate claims of Hillary success, hate spewing democrats with their vile oral garbage etc....

It won't end now that Trump has won, but at least we can laugh at them and their self inflicted meltdowns.

Reminder: The pretrial date for Donald Trump’s child rape case is December 16

So the Democratic Party nominated a candidate who, as recently as July, was the subject of an FBI investigation. That seems a pretty legit reason to consider why perhaps the feds are still stirring up shit in Hillary Clinton’s b-hole just days away from November 8, no mater how tenuous the evidence is at this point, if in fact there is any remaining evidence at all. More to come on that.

In the meantime, it’s worth noting that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has a court date of his own post-Election Day. No, I’m not referring to the class-action suit against his fraudulent Trump University (November 28) or the New York attorney general’s pending investigation into the Trump Foundation, but, rather, the civil suit alleging the 70-year-old Republican presidential nominee of an incident back in 1994, which included “rape, sexual misconduct, criminal sexual acts, sexual abuse, forcible touching, assault, battery, intentional and reckless infliction of emotional distress, duress, false imprisonment, and defamation” of a 13-year-old girl.

My fondest hope is President Trump ends the poverty that has plagued the black community...and brings them into the Freedom Party's big tent and forever more ends the dem party grip on them.

Oddly, democrats still cannot process the fact that Hillary was summarily rejected no matter how many lies Obama told about her.

Hillary Clinton's winning the popular vote is hardly meaningless. And demagogueTrump's winning the electoral vote can hardly be considered a mandate.

Paul Ryan declared that President-Elect Donald Trump earned an electoral mandate in this election. While we have come to expect cynical partisanship from our politicians, this still seems like a surprising statement. Trump absolutely beat expectations, and in that sense the election felt like a strong repudiation of previous policies, but we should keep in mind that Clinton won the popular vote, and Democrats picked up seats in both the Senate and the House. That does not sound like a mandate.

Instead, it sounds to me like the electorate was sending mixed signals, hoping against all rationality that our elected officials would begin to legislate with humility rather than ideological certainty. That maybe they will finally work toward consensus rather than division. Declaring a mandate from a narrow presidential victory and down-ballot losses seems like an inauspicious place to start.
