When is there enough Diversity?

Our country today has a black president, black Attorney General, Jewish Chief of Staff, Mestizo Supreme Court Justice, and possibly another Jewish Supreme Court Justice just in the span since Obama took office. When is there enough Diversity? When will our government not be “too white”? This is the danger of Diversity: it never says how few whites there needs to be before True Diversity has been achieved, leaving the door open to the total eradication of whites in America. When there are no more whites will we finally have True Diversity?

There can never be too much diversity.  The problem is when diversity is defined in terms of varieties of races/ethnicities, rather than varieties of individual thoughts and ideas.  As I listen to the diversity camp and the way the word it used, we are supposed to teach students about the various ethnic groups and to appreciate them.  Hogwash.  Learn to appreciate diverse, new ideas -- not collective dogma.

There is enough diversity when we have to give special programs to minorities because they cannot compete on merit alone.  This is the first President who could only get into the WH based on these programs which started with education.  If we cannot have diversity without special ed and free handouts then we have to much diversity.   Merit or nothing.
