Donnie was hinting that he could have been very mean to Hillary.
Do you think that Donnie bringing up Bill's impeachment or sexcapades could help him somehow?
THAT was almost 20 years ago.  It wasn't like Hillary was stepping out on Bill.

PLUS, Hillary could have started going after Donnie for stepping out on Ivana...

Not sure if would really have helped him, but he seemed to hint that it could have.

What do you guys think?

To answer your question, Davik, it might help him. I don't agree with it, but it could help. It is different than showing Hillary either complacent or assisting in some way. Hillary isn't being accused of those deeds, and unless one wishes to argue that her response or such, the issue shouldn't bear against her. I want to make sure I mention, however, that some issues related to this are reasonable points where people may argue reasonably as to whether Hillary might deserve reconsideration. One such area is the contrast between her treatment in the media of those accusing her husband of misconduct and her statements about victims deserving to be believed. One thing I specifically hope isn't made is a case that Bill must have cheated because Hillary is a bad wife. While on her best day, she is (To put it mildly) not my cup of tea, that is so not how it works. Basically, if she isn't the subject of the case, I don't think it is a reasonable point, though I'm sure arguments will be made and likely will will work.

 clinton attacked trump for his perceived misogynistic statement/views against women.

trump said he resisted responding in kind...implying husband bill's 40 year history of marital infidelity, abuse, and objectification of women.
he later said it was in deference to chelsea.

he took michelle obama's  "high road" in this case....while leaving the threat to open that door in later debates.
