Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

That is one place that I have always wished to spend some time... I have the time, not sure about the money.

the energy industry is changing, you can't make thee private power companies buy a more expensive coal over cheaper natural gas.
Energy companies will not buy coal because that will guarantee abuse from every regulatory agency in the Federal Government!

As Obama said you can build a coal fired power plant but I will bankrupt you for doing so!

Wvit, It must be easy to be a liberal.. Obviously you don't have to think about the logic of their stand.

Sure natural gas is more convenient as well as cleaner... However, An energy provider or user just does not decide to cover the coal pile and turn on the natural gas.  In ALL cases the MUST change from coal burning device to a gas burning device.

To deliver the gas requires lots of pipelines....which the liberals are fighting against in most areas of this nation including the county where we currently live.

This is NOT FREE.  Someone has to pay for it.  Currently approximately 40% of all our energy needs are provided by coal. So we are expected to flip the magic liberal switch and suddenly we are converted to natural gas.  What a dumb assed idea.

The approximately 100 different Indian Tribes are protesting the pipeline that will carry about 570 thousand gallons of oil per day - they say because it goes thru Indian burial grounds in South Dakota.

That is socialism at its best... there they sit with every thing they need provided courtesy of the taxpayers.. bitching about a pipe line that will help those that support them. Pipelines are the safest ways to deliver this natural gas... and that has been proven many many times.

As I said "This is NOT FREE.  Someone has to pay for it."

Wvit, where is that magic liberal switch that will instantly put natural gas into every facility and home in our country? After you have bankrupted the coal industry and put thousands of workers out of a job.

What happened to the 151 proposed coal plants?

The May 2007 list, which showed 151 proposed coal plants, received widespread publicity and helped galvanize the movement for a coal moratorium. As of December 2013, the status of the plants shown on the list was as follows:

Cancelled, abandoned, or on hold: 106 projects;
Early stages of development: 3 projects;
Advanced stages of development: 1 projects;
In operation or under construction: 41 projects.

you can whine, you can stomp your feet, you can deny the facts.  But no matter the power industry is turning away from burning coal and turning to cheaper and cleaner sources for their fuel.

Yes Wvit.  That is not any secret.  We can see that, but typical of lib logic... They want to drive the coal mines totally out of business...BEFORE THE MAJORITY OF THOSE USING COAL HAVE CONVERTED THEIR PLANTS ENERGY PROGRAM TO NATURAL GAS.

The closing of the mines will increase the cost of coal energy to the user as this will drive the cost of the available coal skyward. Plus, Does the home owner who may have been using coal for 30 years have to buy a new natural gas heating system.

Sown in SC where my family used to live there was no access to natural gas... they had to use propane... it costs more than coal.
