Can washing dishes get easier?

I just don't know how to make it easier.... I mean... have a dishwasher... and it's ok for plates and glasses and yes it has a pot and pan cycle  but... but... but... you have to still wash or rinse before you put in... and sometimes it takes 2 washes each day and I'm tired .. seriously... cause you can spend half your day in the kitchen just cleaning up after a meal...
 
I know... eat out more...  yeah.. but...but.. but...$$$
 
there's really no places close...  Subway, McDonalds, Wendys, KFC and Pizza Hut... all in a different county...and they don't deliver here....and that's so fattening...and I'm becoming a germaphobic
 
I know... salads and cereal... easy clean up... no pots... no pans... no oil splatter...
 
We'll talking cleaning the fridge another day...(sigh)

Buy paper plates they are cheap and throw away forks and Spoons, pretend everyday you are on a picnic.

got a stash of paper plates and plastic forks and spoons...don't help cause you still have pots and pans... and I use them for barbeques most of the time...
 
I'm thinking it's close to vacation time and I'm tired as heck doing routine things...
 
Now room service is up my alley...that definitely would make it easier...

For us, summertime grilling is a must and I can prepare the whole meal with little cleanup.  Even roasting spuds, I use a throwaway aluminum foil pan.  Or the crockpot is another option...one pot that way.  I also love my george foreman and quesadilla maker...
 
You can make clean up easier by filling the pots or pans partly with water and add a touch of dishsoap, then bring the water nearly to a boil, shut off and cover and let the steam work on the stuck on stuff.
 
We do everything but the pots and pans in our dishwasher as well...

Been too HOT to cook.  we roasted two chickens, had that the first night with microwaved rice and veggies, sliced up the remaining chicken and been having that for chicken salad and sandwiches with fruit and sliced cold veggies (cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots raw)  Not much left to wash, just plates and silverware, takes less than 5 min to load into dishwasher for the four of us.  Tonight will make a cucumber soup and sandwiches.

Gri, the El Paso Chile company Quesadilla maker is a MUST for anyone with teenager boys!
 
It's the greatest little thing, and the kids absolutely love it!  No muss, no fuss, wipe it clean with a damp towel...

Takn, We have all ways just use an electric skillet, can make a ton with no fuss.

The great thing about this maker is that it seals the edges and creates 6 quesadilla pieces, that you just slice through with a pizza cutter...
They've made everything from pizzadillas to apple piedillas, to pbjdillas...
