Today i s the day I left home to start my adventure. I heard the news while on the way to the airport heading to VA.

They were saying on the news this morning that even Elvis visited the famous landmark the "Summit Inn" in the Cajon Pass that burned down yesterday/last night in this 'Blue Cut' fire that is raging right now.

So you left home this day yesterday and heard the news about Elvis... I graduated H.S. in June, '77.

Tomorrow 18th would have been my parents 60th wedding anniversary. We will be picking her blooms and greenery from their home and heading up in the morning to her graveside. Her Father gave her a plant decades ago that is now enormous (will try to look up the name) and want to be sure to include it in the bouquet.

I graduated in May of 72...moved to CA with sister who was in the Marines....2 weeks later she got orders to Arlington, VA so I moved back home to MO. Then when she moved off base...I moved in with her and then stayed here.

Camp Pendleton..!! I'm thinking. Think I've read about you being in the San Diego area.

Coink, every summer from a kid to adulthood and beyond went..still go to Del Mar/Solana Beach areas
Encinitas....Carlsbad

How about that Cardiff-By-The-Sea! Back in the day you could get a space. These days better book a year plus in advance.
