You should get a couple of these...put them in the window... they are solar. I have them inside on the window sills and at night it looks like you are recording. I have them  on all sides of the house. People think they are camera  recording. I bought them for the last house in hopes it would keep the deer away. That did not work but when you read reviews, people say it keeps people away who think they are being recorded. I looked out the window and saw a dog walker  go across the street when it got to my house.  I  actually have them in the window so  people do not let dogs poop in my yard.

I have had them for several years and they still flash like the day I got them. I even screwed one into the wall above of my patio door...then went out to the woods and that lights sure looks like a recorder.

Here it is sitting in the window unnoticed during the day and at night, you just see a blinking light.

We have a house alarm but it's not hooked up to a company, luckily, because we're the only ones who set it off when we forget and go in or out a different door.  It sounds off all  over the neighborhood but nobody takes any notice - I think they know it's just us fools.

That sound file is brilliant - sounds just like Hannah when we're playing tug of war with her.  After living in a small and peaceful rural town, I think city life would be very hard.

I have a real system too but it does not record people walking by....now they might  think they are being recorded.

Good. :-) I have one on all sides of the house. Don't tell anyone what it is. So far nobody has ever asked me and I have been using them for years.

We can hang one on each side of the garage, and put one in the livingroom window facing the driveway...
