Super easy "oreo" cheesecake

Having found the Hydrox cookies back in the store, I thought I would try one of the hubby's favorite desserts, oreo cheesecake (which he loves to grab a slice of from one of our little cafe's that we brunch at regularly)...it was so easy and tastes wonderful.


Make your crust from about 18-20 crushed cookies and a quarter cup melted butter, right in the pie dish.


Bake it on 325* for just about 5-8 minutes, then cool thoroughly in the fridge.






Meanwhile, beat 2, 8 oz packages of softened Philly cream cheese until fluffy.


Add 1, 7 oz jar of marshmallow creme and beat together.


Fold in 1/3 container Cool Whip, then fold in 6 more cookies, that have been coursely chopped.


Spoon into the cooled pie shell and refrigerate at least 4 hours.






So easy, and tasty.

It really was...had a piece after work tonight.  hubby says the only thing missing from the restaurant version is the chocolate ganache, which I vow I will learn to make.
