Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Cruz' ENTIRE statement about Healthcare is a lie!

OMG - What a scum sucking snake to lie to our faces like this!
He should be boiled in oil and drummed out of the race...

"Socialized medicine is a disaster. It does not work. If you look
at the countries that have imposed socialized medicine, that
have put the government in charge of providing medicine, what
inevitably happens is rationing. You have a scarcity of doctors. ...
And that means the elderly are told: We're going to ration a hip
replacement; we're going to ration a knee replacement. We're
going to ration end-of-life care."

Wow, just lie after lie after lie...

Swift is right, liars gotta lie, ESPCIALLY Ted Cruz!

One can hardly believe that a POTUS or a potential POTUS would ever LIE ABOUT HEALTHCARE.

Cruz is a masterdebater. That's what he trained to do through his entire college and political career. In his mind there is no room for truth. Winning the debate is all that matters. He takes a position he believes to put him in the best light for his current target audience and let's the lies flow through his lips like greens through a goose. The sad part is that tea partiers aren't smart enough to see through his scam.

of course he lied about healthcare.  but to me his biggest, most sickening lie was about torture.  he said he was against torture and even voted for McCain's bill to officially ban torture.  The bill banning torture was passed in the Senate in June of 2015.

Washington (CNN)The Senate voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to prevent the military and all other government agencies from using torture during interrogations of prisoners, codifying a ban President Barack Obama issued by executive order shortly after he was sworn in.

The amendment to the annual defense policy bill passed 78-21, with only Republicans voting against it.

It would expand to the entire government a 2005 law, the Detainee Treatment Act, which banned the military from engaging in torture. It would also require the International Committee of the Red Cross to have access to prisoners being held by the U.S. government.

"Current law already bans torture, as well as cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment," said Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the top Democrat on the Intelligence Committee and a sponsor of the amendment. Despite that, Feinstein said President George W. Bush's administration used "deeply flawed legal theory" to justify the use of torture, essentially going around the law.

"Those legal opinions could be written again," she said.

The amendment was co-sponsored by Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, the chairman of the Armed Services Committee and a former prisoner of war in Vietnam who was tortured by his captors.

"I believe past interrogation policies compromised our values, stained our national honor, and did little practical good," he said. "This amendment provides greater assurances that never again will the United States follow that dark path of sacrificing our values for our short-term security needs."

Republican opponents of the amendment argued they do not condone torture. But they said it would be a mistake to require CIA interrogators to follow the basic techniques for the handling of prisoners of war set out in the Army Field Manual, which they said was limited in its permission of so-called enhanced interrogation techniques used to glean information from captives.

Two other GOP presidential candidates -- Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas -- voted for the amendment. Cruz, who was the final senator to vote before it was gaveled closed, stood by himself before the dais for a lengthy period before casting his vote.

Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, who is also seeking the Republican nomination for president, missed the vote, something he's done several times in recent months.

So he voted against torture, about 6 months ago....But last night, during the debate he flip flopped.  He said he was okay with waterboarding prisoners!!  and waterboarding is clearly torture, by every legal international and domestic statute, and by the Army Field Manual.  So the lying smarmy ass wants it both ways- he wants to say he has high moral character and wants to ban torture, as any real Christian would do, but when it comes to trying to get votes from punk ass teabaggers who love torture as long as it is used on "moo-slimes" and "feral negroes" and cry about it if they read ISIS does it to their prisoners if they are Christian or white people, lying Cruz is willing to lie and pander.

you are a punk and a liar.  Obamacare has saved an estimated 50,000 lives since being enacted.  Millions of Americans are now covered by insurance that were not before, including millions of kids.  Our uninsured rate now is the lowest in our history.  and health care costs are rising, but at a much slower rate than before Obamacare.  liar.

While the Great Recession had something to do with health spending growing at a less than 4 percent rate during recent years, government actuaries still estimate that costs will pick back up in the future at a slower rate than they did during the 1990s. The decrease in the average age of Medicare recipients, faster economic growth and the expansion of health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act are key underlying factors that will drive health spending growth in the coming decade – with the impact of health insurance expansion waning during the next few years as Obamacare plays out.

The Office of the Actuary for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the agency that carries out the details of the health law, presented findings a few weeks ago about health care spending in the U.S. that were published in the trade journal Health Affairs. The agency projects the U.S. will spend more on health care during the next decade than during the recession, which began in late 2007, but that the rate of spending will be lower than from 1990 to 2008, when costs grew at an average of 7.2 percent each year, or 2 percent faster than the economy.
