you are comparing a traveling salesman job to being president or a senator?  you really are a dumbass.  that's hilarious.  do senators gets to argue debates, listen to debates and cast their votes absentee?  isn't that a job they need to actually be there for?  and you would think a president would want to be in Washington, more accessible and just generally "on the job" than for more than 2/3rds of their presidency.  bush was not in the white house, and not traveling on official business, for about a third of his two terms.  and you are defending that slacker bullshit?  Reagan wasn't much better, but he had been shot, was much older and wasn't all that informed on what was going on anyway.
