Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

There is no longer any need for affirmative action as everyone is intellectually equal, ethnically, so the left believes, too.

Most universities, most sensible employers, want diversity, want their schools and their businesses to reflect their city, their society, their state, their country, their neighborhood.  That is the way real Americans are.  We are not a monolithic society, never have been.  Just look at the vast societal differences within certain areas of the country and even within many states!!  If they want to ensure that diversity, but not discriminate against ANYONE in particular, THAT IS THEIR RIGHT.  AS THE SUPREME COURT HAS RULED.  You boys need to learn to read, right after you learn to think.  Race and gender considerations, ONLY, can not be used as any criteria in this process.  So quit crying about black people and women you don't even give a shit about anyway, fake ass racist dirt clods.

Most of the country has moved on from the racist crap that the older generation still embraces.  but as long as there's still a few of the old goofball racists around we still need laws protecting the rights of minorities.

Give it another decade or so and most of the old racists will have died off.

Yes, except some who want affirmative action which is racist crap.  Eventually that racism will die off, too.

Scott you sound like you are agreeing that you lost the argument. Name calling and anger are the signs of failure in debate. The ability to think and post in a civil maner is the goal of any debate. We aren't racist or misogynist because we acknowledge that people are different. It is the judgement that those weaknesses make them some how less than equal that affermative action pushes. Name calling and mud throwing only help to prove our point, that your arguments can't stand on thier own.

Over the past quarter of a century, Stanford has been discriminating in favor of racial minorities in admissions, hiring, tenure, contracting and financial aid. But only recently has the University been forced to rethink these policies in the face of an emerging public debate over affirmative action.

We are beginning to see why. Originally conceived as a means to redress discrimination, racial preferences have instead promoted it. And rather than fostering harmony and integration, preferences have divided the campus. In no other area of public life is there a greater disparity between the rhetoric of preferences and the reality.

or

that something had to be done

or

that the black experience in america was and still is different

is it getting better? of course

is it universal ?  no

I think we have long ago lost sight of what being racist means.  It has instead become a political playing card used when anyone would have a differing opinion on policy for things like affirmative action, immigration, etc.  It is sad, because by doing so lose sight of the real racism that exists not only in the US but worldwide.  The mass genocides and clan on clan killing in African and Middle Eastern countries defines racism in such a way we can barely comprehend in the US.

When we live by MLK's words racism will be gone.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
