Switzerland has now banned the wearing of the burqa and there will be a 6,500 pound fine for disobeying the law.

France already had this law in place along with Belgium and the Netherlands.  In view of the heightened terrorist alerts Switzerland put it to a vote and won with an overwhelming majority.

I guess the old saying of "When in Rome, do as the Romans" is making an impact.

Actually Switzerland PUTS every law to a vote, heightened security or not.
I'd be surprised at the actual number that voted, since they are known for EXTREMELY Low turnouts.

The covering of the woman's hair in public is the intent of the burka, dumbass, and the other less stupid hair covering clothes that are lumped all together in most westerner's eyes.  It is part of their dumbass religion.  Kinda like Christians who believe the Universe was created 6000 years ago in 6 days. 

Speaking of dumbass religious dress codes, how about a nun's habit?

Think of how many explosives a nun or Pope could hide underneath their costumes.....Or a muslim PRETENDING to be a nun or Pope!!  Yeah, that's it!  Muslim nuns and popes!!  Another reason for right wingers to buy more guns and be too afraid to go to sleep at night about.
