Compared to what republicans wanted, it was very liberal.  But if democrats were racist 150 years ago, or even 80 years ago, we got over it.  All the democrats that now vote republican, and a large percentage of republicans for all time, are still suffering from their fear of black people and general paranoia of those different from themselves which I guess is the basis of their goofy ass racism, homophobia, fear of women and fear of muslims.

NOW ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS PROVE THAT BULLSHIT, NOW THAT YOU HAVE ADMITTED THE RACISM OF THE DEMOCRATS AND WHEN FDR PUT JAPANESE AMERICANS IN THOSE CAMPS THAT WAS RACISM AS WAS HIS REFUSAL TO ALLOW THAT BOATLOAD OF JEWISH CHILDREN INTO THIS COUNTRY. BUT THE REPUBLICANS NEVER SENT A KLAN MEMBER TO DC LIKE THE DEMS DID!

I've asked you several times in the past to name a bunch of Republicans that opposed either of these actions.  I never got an answer.
If you read the history of the internment it was very popular in California.  It was pushed by large farm cooperations, and Hearst news.  I doubt either was Democrat.  Racism was rampant at the time California had all kinds of anti japanese laws on the books before the War. The Army commander in the West pushed the internment more than any one else.
FDR signed the executive order under a lot of political pressure.  The Supreme Court, no friend of FDR supported it.

You know what happened to the Dixiecrats after 1965, they have become one of the GOP's lock step voting blocks.  That's why Ben Carson isn't join go become their candidate.

Southern KkK Democrats continued to be elected in the south long after the '64 CR act.

http://www.270towin.com/1968_Election/index.html

Only in Texas in 1968 and by less than two percentage points.  Texas until then was Democrat since Reconstruction.
As were the other States.  Wallace won some of the South in 1968, but it has over mostly Republican since.  Exception is Carter won his home state.  Clinton won his Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky.  Solid Republican in all other cases.

We have already proven our side,

Not really.

Your claim is racist left the Dem party because they accepted racial equality only to join a party that fought for racial equality all along doesn't pass the logical sniff test. True democrats lost many members during that time but if you will bother to look it up it was the number of independents that grew by leaps and bounds. Not the republicans.

True the south started voting republican. But chances are it was a social change where democrats simply voted
against racism as opposed to for republicans. That would support your claim democrats woke one day and were no longer racist.

You are lying, boy.  You have been shown the truth about 500 times and you still lie.  How stupid and/or dishonest are you?  To spew a lie based on your ignorance about recent American history is one thing, mistakes happen due to ignorance and lack of knowledge, but you have been shown the truth about how big a liar you are about 10 times, that I know of, and YOU STILL SPEW THE SAME LIES- THAT MEANS YOU ARE A LYING ASSHOLE.

If republicans were the more liberal party when it comes to racial equality in 1964, then how do you explain these numbers, these real numbers, really written down, really recorded and not subject to right wing revisionist history?

no southern republican in Congress voted for the civil rights act.  NOT ONE REPUBLICAN IN THE SOUTH VOTED FOR THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT.  8 SOUTHERN DEMOCRATS DID KNOWING IT WOULD END THE DEMOCRATIC CONTROL OF THE SOUTH AND COST THEM THEIR JOBS.  and the democrats held the south so firmly THERE WAS JUST ONE REPUBLICAN SENATOR FROM ANY CONFEDERATE STATES IN 1964 AND ONLY 10 SOUTHERN REPUBLICAN HOUSE MEMBERS......get it? here is the real deal-

By party and region

Note: "Southern", as used in this section, refers to members of Congress from the eleven states that made up the Confederate States of America in the American Civil War. "Northern" refers to members from the other 39 states, regardless of the geographic location of those states.
The original House version:

•Southern Democrats: 7–87   (7%–93%)
•Southern Republicans: 0–10   (0%–100%)

•Northern Democrats: 145-9   (94%–6%)
•Northern Republicans: 138-24   (85%–15%)

The Senate version:

•Southern Democrats: 1–20   (5%–95%)
•Southern Republicans: 0–1   (0%–100%)

•Northern Democrats: 45-1   (98%–2%)
•Northern Republicans: 27-5   (84%–16%)
