Everybody will have their own opinions as far as religious rights are concerned.  However, when religious rights/beliefs conflict with your job, then you have to put your religious beliefs aside.  Your GOD's Laws DO NOT override Laws of the real world.  Government. State and Local Laws are for the real world.  Your God's laws are for your mind, as taught to you by your elders. 

If Kim Davis's religious beliefs are so strong, that she can't fulfill the job she was elected to do and took the oath for the office of County Clerk, then has no choice but to resign.

Actually she WAS doing the job she was elected to do, but the Supreme Court CHANGED the job

and took the oath for the office of County Clerk

Right.  She took an oath to uphold the law against same sex marriage.  She didn't take an oath to defend the law the Supreme Court made up.

Ex post facto laws are illegal.

The thing to do is to close the old position, pay out the balance of Davis' contract and open up a new position and solicit candidates who are willing to perform the new duties of the new position.
