Are the boxes made of metal or wood?  I love the effect but would worry about open flames heating up the wood.

I think you've got it made in your little corner of the world.  Nature is such a glorious, revitalizing thing...the butterflies, the birds, the sounds all around us.  If we all just had the ability to block out the daily "noise" and drink this in...what a wonderful world it would be...

They are real candles but I am going to put  short ones in there once I get everything in place. That was just to see what it looks like.

There is a concert place through the woods and on the other side of the river...not far at all and Heart was here for real. I have Magic  Man stuck in my head now too. LOL

Sunshine, Amazing how sound travels! Could be a good thing depending on concert ha! Oh I love the look and size of those votives. The on/off candles I have would look great in those, they come in different sizes; I think you sold a set? I saw a photo but not sure from who.

I took my son to see Heart in concert when he was about 14.  I first heard them in college when they were still traveling to Montana to play small bars and "refine" their sound.

Ann Wilson's voice is much purer and fuller now than it was back in the day.  She is a gift...and we will never forget the wonderful evening we had listening to her and Nancy play...

This was debuted at the concert we attended.
