The actual number of people owning guns has decreased along with violent crimes rates.   It's always interesting how gun wackos try to twist the truth to justify their beliefs though.

The actual number of people owning guns has decreased along with violent crimes rates.

The total number of guns out there is higher than ever before and more people than ever are carrying guns in public. And the numbers are growing with each passing day. That's an undisputed fact. Yet murders and accidental deaths are decreasing.  That too is an undisputed fact.
 
It's always interesting how anti-gun wackos try to twist the truth to justify their beliefs though.

and yet no real increase in stories of people in public saving anybody in public with their gun, but way more stories of guns going off accidentally in public.....why are gun nuts so chickenshit?  we do not have to wonder what it looks like when there are less guns in society- we have all the other modern countries in the world to judge us by!!!  and we fucking lose big time!!  god, you gun nuts are incredibly stupid.

jim asked the question:  why carry a gun?   since guns are used for suicide, the answer is obvious.
 
murder by guns is declining.
 
suicide by guns is increasing and now is the # of suicides with guns is greater than the murder numbers.
