Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Sounds like the good dentist has a bit of history in poaching and questionable hunts.

He's no hunter...he pays people to can hunt for him and that is more than wrong.  I cannot stand the "trophy" hunter...they have a reputation that is seedy.

It's not the first time this dentist has illegally killed a wild animal...

Following the incident, court documents emerged showing Palmer was fined $3,000 and given a year's probation
after pleading guilty over the illegal killing of a black bear in Wisconsin in 2006. Palmer had a permit to hunt bears within a certain area near Phillips, in the north of the state. But on September 1, 2006, he was part of a group of people who killed a black bear 40 miles outside this permitted zone, according to the court documents from April 2008.

Realizing what they had done, the group agreed that "if any authorities were to ask where the bear had been killed, they would say" it was hunted within the correct area, the documents added.

Totally unnecessary and all involved should pay a heavy penalty.   Just wrong on so many levels.

On Tuesday, Palmer said in a statement, "I relied on the expertise of my local professional guides to ensure a legal hunt," CBS reported.

"I had no idea that the lion I took was a known, local favorite, was collared and part of a study until the end of the hunt," Palmer said, according to CBS. "I deeply regret that my pursuit of an activity I love and practice responsibly and legally resulted in the taking of this lion."

He added, according to the statement, that he had not been contacted by authorities but would work with them.

According to police spokeswoman Charity Charamba, Palmer will face charges of poaching, the AP reported. Emmanuel Fundira, the president of the Safari Operators Association of Zimbabwe, said that Palmer's whereabouts are currently unknown.

The two Zimbabwean men facing charges include a landowner and a professional hunter, according to a joint statement from the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority and Safari Operators Association.

Neither of the men had a hunting permit, making the kill illegal, according to the statement.

How is that possible?

Zimbabwe has an all controlling socialist government whose policies Obama emulates!

Could it be absolute power corrupts absolutely?

Regardless how you feel about trophy hunting, the hunter had all the required permits and did nothing illegal.  The outrage is based entirely on the fact he killed a celebrity lion.  If it had been a nobody lion, no one would have cared.

Dang it! I hate when this happens... It was less than a week ago and I found myself in agreement with DBM, and now with Dan. I can see this is going to require some alcohol therapy.

If the dentist actually had all the required permits, and did nothing illegal personally, and had no knowledge that his guides did nothing illegal, then Dan ia right. OUCH!!! It hurts to say that!

I oppose trophy killing of any animal.    If you are hunting game for food and save a mount from the hunt that is fine but this case is just abuse of an animal.   Even if it was legal under Zimbabwe law which is still questionable.

The hell he didn't do anything illegal! He damned sure did!

And YES, I would be livid if this were just any lion, too. There is absolutely NO ethical reason for trophy hunting.

Absolutely right! He continued to collect his trophy after he realized he killed a protected lion.
