For something as deadly as war, the government should not be doing it unless pretty much everyone agrees. There was clearly opposition yet the government chose to ignore the people and fight the war anyway. As it always does. And worse, the government began infiltrating anti-war groups, conducted terrorist activities to blame on anti war groups, and murdered anti war protestors.

The real kicker, some foreign groups kills citizens and it is an act of war demanding their annihilation. The government does it and crickets. Nobody calls that an act of war, nobody demands the government be annihiliated for its attacks.

Amazing fact.  Over the years the USA has gone into foreign lands and sacrificed thousands and thousands of American lives, not to mention trillions and trillions of dollars in order to help our friends and allies stand against the bad guys, be it the Nazi's or the Japs...And yet all we have asked for from these countries is enough of their soil to bury our dead in.

We have not declared war on the Muslim terrorists, however they certainly have declared war on us, starting with 9/11 and continuing to this date.

We need a leader in DC who has the will to jerk his head out of his ass and attempt to understand what is going on.
