Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Americans, in general, are fat, lazy and stupid! And deserve all that is taking place and all that is yet to come!

The same thing your parents said about your generation. The same thing your grandparents said about your parents generation. The same thing your great-grandparents said about your grandparents generation. so on and so forth, back all the way to when the first humans walked upright back in Africa.

Hah hah - remember saying that back in the 1950's - when Truman, Eisenhower and Kennedy wanted us to fear Southeast Asia?

Worst of times back then.

And then came domino theory war mongering 1960's AND 1970's and more war - who'd a thunk we would ever go in pursuit of another war OVERSEAS over democracy. And blow up Southeast Asia - and millions of civilians along with it. In the name of what again?

And now we have a new millenenium and we are still stuck in the worst of times - engaged in another war that never ends - against those that don't embrace democracy once again.

Excepting this time Commander in Chief Obama's tag is wagged by Israeli interests - and not our own.

Making this war - the WORST of wars. Of all time.

When will we EVER learn? When will we ever learn...

Agreed. To have Peter, Paul and Mary sing it - is magical.

Unforgettable.

William, I know it is probably rude to ask, but in what decade were you born. You don't have to answer of course. I was born in 1951. I grew up listening to great music from the forties, fifties and sixties. Just like my parents bemoaning the music i listend to in the fifties and more so in the sixties, I think music began going bad in the late seventies. There are still some great groups, but I can't think of any of the m ain stream players that I care much for.

A couple of my favorite current groups are:

and

You can listen to some of their stuff on youtube.

I was born in 1959.

My parents taught their four kids songs on road trips and campgrounds sing a arounds.

We grew being taught folk music by by our parents around Oregon campgrounds and later - when we drove across the country multiple times in my folk's Volkswagen van - singing together around our campfire at National Park campgrounds everywhere.

We barely harmonized - but boy oh boy - did we sing. Kingston Trio. Peter, Paul and Mary. Bob Dylan.

A variety of music by true STORY TELLING MUSICIANS from the 60's and 70's - Simon and Garfunkel was a big influence - is what I remember the most. Loved them all.

All you mentioned are great singers. I too listened to a lot of folk. In addition to the ones you mentioned, I liked Arlo Guthrie, and Woodie Guthrie. There were a lot of one hit wonders I liked as well. Barry McGuire and "Eve of Destruction" is one that comes to mind.

The eastern world it is explodin', violence flarin', bullets loadin'
You're old enough to kill but not for votin'
You don't believe in war, what's that gun you're totin'
And even the Jordan river has bodies floatin'
But you tell me over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction
Don't you understand, what I'm trying to say?
Can't you see the fear that I'm feeling today?
If the button is pushed, there's no running away
There'll be none to save with the world in a grave
Take a look around you, boy, it's bound to scare you, boy
But you tell me over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction
Yeah, my blood's so mad, feels like coagulatin'
I'm sittin' here just contemplatin'
I can't twist the truth, it knows no regulation
Handful of Senators don't pass legislation
And marches alone can't bring integration
When human respect is disintegratin'
This whole crazy world is just too frustratin'
And you tell me over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction
Think of all the hate there is in Red China
Then take a look around to Selma, Alabama
Ah, you may leave here for four days in space
But when you return it's the same old place
The poundin' of the drums, the pride and disgrace
You can bury your dead but don't leave a trace
Hate your next door neighbor but don't forget to say grace
And you tell me over and over and over and over again my friend
Ah, you don't believe we're on the eve of destruction

The same thing your grandparents said about your parents generation.

Yeah, it's now known as the Great Depression, followed by the New Deal.
