Fortunately, in the scope of the Species and the World, "marriage" it self, heterosexual or homosexual, is irrelevant.  Marriage is functionally meaningless.  As such it's hard to imagine how a supposedly intelligent species could have gotten so ridiculously entangled in the formalities of and irrelevant ritual.

The whole of humanity, hetero and homo alike, should collectively bear the shame of of such a blatantly stupid concern.
