That was Venus in it third stage.  I'v seen it many times a telescope in my youth... It goes through phases just like our moon.

that was Venus being eclipsed by another orb

just as when we see any lunar eclipse!

ive seen venus too, but never being eclipsed.

like that!  Venus phases look like lunar phases

this looked nothing like a phase but exactly how an eclipse

looks!

the question all should be asking here is WHY is this being ignored

by the media when its been predicted by astronomers for 100 years?
