Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength

« on: 07 21, 10, 06:03:39:PM » Reply

Hannah has been with us for a week now.  Airedale Rescue came to us after we lost "Edgar" and brought us this 2 1/2 year old girl who had been shuffled around from owner to shelter to another owner and then Rescue got her from San Francisco.  Her last owner had Alzheimer's that was rapidly getting worse and the first owner couldn't afford to keep her.  She is very lively and we are walking a few miles again every morning, playing ball and walking again in the afternoon.  I found out that she counter surfs beautifully and she took a bite out of my pie last night before I could get it to the table.  I also get a tennis ball dropped on my pillow first thing.   She has bonded to us very quickly and is full of love and kisses, but still displays separation anxiety if one of us leaves, so it will be a while before we can leave her totally on her own.  She is quite happy to jump in the car or RV and accompany us on trips and has made friends with Mugsy our neighbor's Jack Russell and Miko, our other neighbor's pug.   As I write this she is laying with her head on my feet.

She is filling up a big hole in our home and hearts.

What a sweetheart...and what a sweetheart you are for opening your hearts and home so soon after Edgar's passing...

I saw the picture of her in your blueberry scones post and thought...uh oh, don't tell me that they had Edgar stuffed...(sorry, trying to lighten the mood)...

I feel for you trying to break her of counter surfing...that was supposedly one of our pooch's ultimate downfalls with his former families, that he couldn't stay off the counters or stopping stealing people food...

Again, she is a lovely girl and I know she landed in a good, loving home.

Thanks - it is amazing how quickly you can teach an animal if you do it with a lot of love and how fast you can bond.  We have just taught Hannah to "speak" for a treat and she catches on really fast.   We are still not over losing Edgar but she keeps us very busy and is quite a comic and I think Edgar would have liked her.

she is lovely, and will soon know that she can trust you to come back, that this is truly her home.  We have to put everything away before leaving the kitchen.  Did you know a microwave is great for just holding that food?

Thank you sun.................she is really a sweetheart and the real "Hannah" is coming out now she is feeling secure again.  We have had her 3 weeks and we call her "Velcro Dog" as we do everything together.  We are now going to start leaving her for short times to see how she does.  She was very good in the car today when we went out to breakfast.  It was a very cool day so we felt ok leaving her and she immediately transferred herself to the driver's seat and people watched.
