Obama can propose anything he wants, Congress is the one that has to pass it!

The Presidential budget is a starting point, nothing else.

It is the Repocons in Congress who hold all the power.

Blaming Obama for anything tax related is just BS.

 Golly gee whiz. I thought congress raised or lowered taxes. Did Obama neuter the congress, or do you think they will raise taxes? That wouldn't surprise me. The GOP has always waged war on the middle class.

The AMT has been a burden on the middle-class for decades. It was intended only for the very wealthy. The AMT is still enforced and Comrade Obama has added more taxes on top of it. Anyone who believes Democrats care about the middle-class have their heads deeply embedded where the sun does not shine.

Obama already retreated from his proposal to tax savings for college (529 plans).

Maybe he will drop his other proposals too.
