Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

What a trip...

The skies opened up and poured rain Thursday...the ferry ride over was horrible and we had to chase around do the rehearsal and dinner and decorating and last minute stuff and such...and the hotel was okay, but it wasn't comfortable enough for us to get much sleep, besides the fact that it was stuffy, so we had to leave the window open...so I ended up with a headache the entire time.

Friday, however, the skies were blue and weather crisp.  The fog was just rolling in as pre-wedding photos were being finished up and then the evening ceremony was just beautiful.  It was unfortunate, but most of Thing1's old crewmates had shipped out and only a few of his current shipmates were able to get off work in time to make it (though they were able to come to the reception later in the evening to dance and drink as only sailors can do)...the kids wrote their own vows and they were lovely.

I managed to not cry to much...
Because of the "agreement" to not take photos of the wedding ceremony, the professional photographs will come later...
but here is my "baby boy" and his lovely lady fair...during their first dance.

Oh they are so lovely and despite the iffy weather this time of the year, they had their big day with no hitches.

Love wedding photos and they both looked so happy.  Congrats to you and your family and your welcome addition.

looked at the pic again... and wondered where did this take place again... cause they didn't look cold at all... I ask cause that's where I need to be...lol

this is a perfect pic of them I think... and they look so much in love... I tell you...

was it Florida?

and did you travel that far?

if you did... wow!

how was the reception... and I'll stop...cause I can wonder....

and I know about how sailors drink... I am so glad I escaped that drama...my first time in the bar on base I wore my hat... and tradition say... when you do that you have to buy everyone sitting at the bar a round of drinks...the place was packed.... I didn't know... so the sailor I went with had to pay...me?   I didn't go in there too much after that....considering I only drank soda pop at that time....

weddings are  so precious....

It was here in Washington luv- out on the Kitsap Peninsula...and it was chilly.  It actually poured rain all day Thursday, but the sun came out Friday and it was cool and crisp.  The pre-wedding photos were taken just before dusk, and the fog was just starting to form.  The bride kept running back into the house to warm herself by the fire between photo sessions.  I don't think anyone got a picture of it, but about 9 pm, my husband led me outside to a huge stone patio and we took in the cold night air, looking at the stars, and danced to Dean Martin in the foggy lamplight.  It was magical.

My foster grand daughter will marry in June and be living in Bremerton.  Her guy is a Navy sub guy, based there.  She will be going to collage.  Plan is for her to continue with her education, she has been accepted by every collage and University she has applied at.  We'll see how that works out.  I'm hoping there is housing, he is only an E4.

My son is also a bubblehead...he's an E6 right now, but just took his chief's exam.

Bremerton, Silverdale and Poulsbo have lots of housing, but it's spendy...my son pays $1100 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment.  If they can get base housing it's so much better.  They do get a housing allotment though.
