If you paid attention I never was a fan of "Obamacare", I have been for a single payer plan since before we ever heard the name Obama.
Sine is partly right, ACA was written for and by insurance companies.

Uppy, A single payer plan would do just that.
Better health care?  It sure would mean health care for more people and they would,'t have to go to the ER for health care. 
Poor women do that to tie birth, no prenatal care.  Any serious problem will turn up in the ER at the time of labor, and delivery.  We have a very high infant mortality for an "advanced nation", much higher than the UK for instance.
Now if people survive to 65 and get Medicare they have problems that might have been prevented.
Vets would have to depend on VA for most medical care either.

Don - My insurance won't even cover us going to OHSU.  Luckily we got some needed visits in before we lost it.  There were a lot of changes in our gap policy this year.

It's never been hard to see that cassie /sadie/don are all the same people.
The doctors I work with are so disgusted with what obamacare is doing,some of them are retiring rather than face it. The paperwork alone has cost them thousands of dollars and takes half their time.
The time it takes me and the nurses to now do our charting is off the map. Some of us are having to come in early to get our charting done because there has been NO time to do it and take care of patients.  The hospital is now spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in new employees and equipment to comply with obamacare. It's a disaster and getting worse.
