I can invest in other ways to avoid the capital gains tax. I did it prior to the Reagan, then Bush 43 recession, I can do it again.

For future tax implications, yes.  But you can't avoid paying the gain for taxable accounts.  Remember, the IRS is monitoring your posts.

The stock market and economic growth has been steadily improving since September of 2008. Are you seriously trying to make me believe that the GOP minority in the house and the senate caused the turnaround? I was born at night, but not last night my friend.
