See video showing a police execution of a homeless, mentally ill Michigan man standing in the street.  Police say they were threatened by him because he held a pen knife pointed in the direction of a barking police dog. Eight officers surrounded him and fired 46 rounds. Watch the video and judge for yourself if the police were threatened in any way. All of them were cleared of wrongdoing.  Warning -- graphic

Its like they become hypnotized when they pull their gun, and in lockstep unison they pull the trigger at the same time.  But I think its much deeper than that.  I think they are trained, drilled into their heads, that if their partner, or another cop shoots a suspect, they too must shoot to make it look like the decision was uniform.  Imagine the court conflict if its found that one or two fellow cops don't shoot.  What was their motive for holding back while the others shot an entire clip?
 
These cops are cowardly pricks.  They have earned the right to be killed in the line of duty as far as I am concerned...  No tears here...

Pick your poison. The violence eminating from the black community is not going away. If you do not want the police taking a stand to protect you then you and your family deserve what you get.

How sad.

I can't imagine that this man was not known to local police, so they had to know his mental state.

Agitating him w/ the dog was wrong and their actions reprehensible.

I have every bit of respect for our law enforcement agencies, because what they do is so important and difficult.  But I can't believe they weren't reprimanded and retrained due to this incident alone.
