I will grant that there needs to be a reckoning of some nature with our Constitution in order to accommodate the changing times.  I don't know that it needs to be re-written so much as the terms a concepts in it need to be defined in terms representing todays' technologies, social and moral understandings.

We must define the concepts used in the Constitution better so Judges can not "interpret" them way out of the scope and purpose intended.  The founders wrote well for the realities of their times and for the the nature of the Men it was written for.

The realities of the times have changed drastically, and the nature of the Men who read those words today are but a mere shadow if their predecessors.

Personal privacy has great value to the individual human.  It creates and defines the personal space around the individual.  It is as much a part of his personal property as his tangible possessions.  To maintain that space, he exchanges his thoughts and transactions only with those he freely chooses.  Human dignity demands it.  It has always demanded it.  It will always demand it.   There can be no compelling interest great enough to deny an individual his privacy without cause related to that individual, and that individual alone -- never mind deny it to all individuals, collectively.
