However, most people would think that more ice comes from a cooler climate rather than a warmer one.   (DUH!)

It flies in the face of that predicted by AGW theory.  Now, the warmers are coming up with more theories to try and explain evidence that runs contrary to that which AGW theory predicts.  There has been NO surface temperature warming trend observed over Antarctica as a whole, unlike the global average surface temperatures.   Greenhouse theory predicts warming to be GREATEST at the poles.  That is not being born out by the observed evidence.  Global warming has occurred, but not the way greenhouse theory predicts it.
