Secret Service Chief Pearson should be canned. She was in the hot seat today? Hardly.

Incidence after incidence of the Secret Service f-ing up over the past couple of years.

No changes in protocol and no changes in the leadership guaranteed post congressional hearing. Come on.

If all the Executive Branch does is tromp their chiefs before congressional members and neither branch pursues making any changes and canning incompetent "chiefs" - why is this even being reported as "news"?

GOP members and DEMS tell her - they wish she were more intent on protecting the president, instead of MORE CONCERNED with protecting her reputation.

Damn it - why IS Chief Pearson still in charge? WHO has the power to can her?

The Washington Post, CNN and the Washington Examiner all note - she LIED by omission about one incident where the president was allowed to be all alone in an elevator with an armed man. A serious breach of her own agency's protocol.

Mistakes are one thing.  The Secret Service made a major mistake.

And then Chief Pearson's Secret Sercive lied about additional instances. Intentionally did not include other instances in her congressional testimony.

So BOTH CONGRESSIONAL PARTIES noting all of that on the record and members of BOTH PARTIES intent on seeking her ouster get nowhere - because at the end of the day the Obama Administration circles its own wagons around Chief Pearson and demands she stays?

Why is that, Mr. Obama, sir?

She is lying about instances where PRESIDENR OBAMA was directly emperiled and HIS safety was compromised inside of the White House on more than one occasion. Which also means she intently put your wife and your two children in direct harm's way, too. And who knows when she is telling the truth - or when she is LYING about protecting Obama family members, too.

And yet the Obama inner circle this week is more intent on praising Chief Pearson and demanding she stay Chief of the Secret Service - no matter what?
