If England is going to insist on killing itself by allowing the constant intrusion of Muslims and Sharia, then both Scotland, as well as Ireland, would be much better off separated.

Jim...you make a very valid point.  But on a slightly side note...all of England's nuclear weapons are based in Scotland, so this presents a slight problem for the Brits?

In that case then it would behoove the Brits to allow Scotland to Secede - if for no other reason than to keep those Nukes out of the hands of the Muslims should they take over England.

jst, you hit on a key point.

Yes, all of GB's nukes are based in Scotland, because they are all submarine based and the sub bases are all in Scotland.

Additionally, most of GB's oil production is in the North Sea and it is off the coast of Scotland.  But the production has been falling off the past number of years.  And the only way that it can be recovered is with substantial investment.  It is hard to see how Scotland will be able to afford that by themselves.

I have no dog in this fight at all.   But this is a vote between the wild eyed youth that think independence would be cool and the level headed older people that know that they can not survive as a stand alone country, the left vs the right so to speak.  They even lowered the voting age to 16 years olds!  Never heard of in any western country.

The "Yes'ers" are all for a nuke free nation, pulling out of NATO, no standing military, equality for all, but yet they still want to keep the Queen.
