Walmart Fakes 'Sugar Tax' on N.Y. Soda Sales


Consumers at 117 Wal-Mart stores in New York were sold Coca-Cola soda 12-packs at $3.50 - 50 cents higher than a nationally advertised price - and falsely told that the extra cost was due to a state sugar tax when no such tax exists.
