Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.
Thats all he needed to close it. Thats all Trump needed.
Maybe this is just Proof Trump is better than Biden.

Which Air Force in which country dork?

Can't you read, dickhead?

What does that have to do with Religious Freedom?

How is it religious freedom to be forced to ignore ones religion?

Religious Freedom, an explanation.

http://atheism.about.com/od/churchstatemyths/a/freedomfrom.htm

Actually Hawk,  they simply made it optional.

And your point is...?

wvit,

If 500 Air Force personal are taking the oath of enlistment...and 499 of them Speak SO HELP ME GOD in a loud voice...who's voice do you think would be heard the loudest? BTW...say hi to hawk when you kiss her tonight, just don't tell her parole agent

The issue here isn't whose voice is heard; it's whose First Amendment right isn't violated. The right of the unnamed tech sergeant to refuse to say "so help me God" has been upheld.

The Air Force said it cannot change its AFI to make “so help me God” optional unless Congress changes the statute mandating it.

You're confused again, sweetwater5s9. Here's what the US Air Force said:

The General Counsel concluded that an individual may exclude the words, ‘So help me God,’ and that the Department may not compel the individual to include those words as a condition of enlistment or officer appointment,” Lt. Cmd. Nate Christensen said.
“We take any instance in which Airmen report concerns regarding religious freedom seriously,” Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James said in an
Air Force News Service article. “We are making the appropriate adjustments to ensure our Airmen’s rights are protected.”The policy change will be effective immediately and administrative instructions will be updated accordingly in coming weeks.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It's just way funny to see some ignoramus call someone stupid, while exhibiting the fact that they are ignorant of basic spelling.

GFY, you little commie twit.

U.S. Code

U.S. Code. A multivolume publication of the text of statutes enacted by Congress.

10 U.S. Code § 502 - Enlistment oath

http://us-code.vlex.com/vid/enlistment-oath-who-may-administer-19221004

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/502

“Reciting ‘So help me God’ in the reenlistment and commissioning oaths is a statutory requirement under Title 10 USC 502,” Air Force spokeswoman Rose Richeson said Thursday. AFI 36-2606 “is consistent with the language mandated in 10 USC 502. Paragraph 5.6 [and] was changed in October 2013 to reflect the aforementioned statutory requirement and airmen are no longer authorized to omit the words ‘So help me God.’”

The Air Force said it cannot change its AFI to make “so help me God” optional unless Congress changes the statute mandating it.
