Biden Does NOT need a BILL to close the border
He only needs a PEN. Thats all he needed to open it.

"A survey out on Thursday suggests many Americans who signed up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) find their coverage affordable."

That’s particularly true for people with low incomes who are paying less than $125 a month in premiums, similar to people that get coverage at work. To be sure, there were good deals for consumers in the first year of the ACA.

But the Commonwealth Fund’s Sara Collins, who co-authored this report, says for individuals earning about $30,000, or say $60,000 for a family of four, those deals could be hard to find.

“People are paying more than they would have if they had gotten a plan from an employer,” she says.

Collins’ report raises an important question: Are the ACA subsidies generous enough to make insurance affordable? The federal government is on track to spend at least $11 billion in financial assistance this year.

Sharon Long with the Urban Institute says a chunk of people who buy their own coverage—in and off of the exchanges—are still struggling.

“Among those who are buying coverage on their own, almost half report they are satisfied with their coverage. But that means about half are not satisfied,” she says. For the unsatisfied, the big problem is price, says Long.

And, she adds, that’s the case for more than half of the 41 million Americans who remain uninsured.

Doctors don’t see their opposition to ObamaCare as political, but rather a justified response to being manipulated without our permission. We may be a special interest group, but many doctors don’t feel that the American Medical Association, which supported ObamaCare, truly represents our interests. That’s why only 15 percent of practicing physicians are AMA members.

A full 55 percent of doctors surveyed said they’d repeal and replace it.

We may be a relatively small special interest group, but we happen to be attached to one of the largest groups: our patients.

For Obamacare to succeed, American doctors need to earn less money.

But there comes a point where we doctors can no longer afford to stay in practice. We rely on an unfettered environment to provide creative health-care solutions. This is why survey after survey (most recently one by The Physician’s Foundation) show that ObamaCare is highly unpopular among physicians.

Under ObamaCare, we’re being asked to provide the same high-tech service with more restrictions and regulations to more patients and to be paid less for doing so.

Obamacare means fewer doctors, too. In the Physicians Foundation Survey of 13,000-plus physicians, more than half plan on cutting back on patients, switching to cash only or quitting over the next three years — thanks largely to Obama's “reform.” Indeed, 60 percent say they’ll retire if they can.

Just as health officials are preparing for Obamacare round two, auditors are warning that both the federal and some state websites are still not ready for prime time.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a new report Tuesday night.

After a full decade of Obamacare’s implementation, the latest projections from the Congressional Budget Office (April 2014), estimate that after spending over $1.8 trillion on Obamacare provisions, in 2024, 31 million people will remain uninsured.

That depends on who has to pay for it, those uninsured that were being treated at ER'S were getting it free now they get free insurance to be treated at the ER'S for free.

Not really no difference the taxpayers are still paying for it, with the exception, now they're paying more!

Yeah.  They're the ones getting the subsidies.  Getting subsidies is the only reason a person would want to sign up for Obamacare.  It's the rest of us who are paying for it who don't find it as affordable as the leeches getting the subsidies.

anchoragedan --- If you were a politically-progressive, pro-Obama, secular-left-Democrat, then you would AGREE with wvit1001 & myself that only the GOVERNMENT can run America's health care system!

Right-wingers simply don't understand the benefits of the government running everything --- they really need to visit Cuba and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea under Kim Jong-un to experience Marxist-socialist rule firsthand.
