I do not know what this means - short or long term. I wonder where the UN is on this issue and why this was Barack Obama's autonomous call - and specific Commander in Chief order. 

It's a done deal one way or the other.

We are engaged back in war.

And the image of airstrikes today puts our engagement in the Middle East - in unknown terrtory - time frame and U.S. military commitment wise. 

Akin to a prolonged military engagement in Vietnam we all were forced to be subjected to - from the middle 50's to the middle 70's. That achieved nothing but our nation surrendering to the enemy communist regime - in the end.

God help us all - where does this course heading of Commander in Chief Obama's take us?
