A 26-year-old student from Lebanon is being held without bail in Australia for 25 counts of sexual intercourse with a minor.
The man was living with a 12-year old girl he had "married" in a sharia ceremony arranged by the girl's father, a 62-year old convert to Islam. According to police documents, the girl was told that sharia law superseded Australian law.
The man admitted to having sex daily with the girl, but when questioned on this he showed no remorse and was confident that in doing this he had committed no crime," police documents say.
The father told police detectives he was "shocked" at being arrested, and said he saw nothing wrong with the union. He has been charged with procuring a child for sex and an accessory before the fact to sexual intercourse with a child.

You could be telling the truth, but since your claim isn't supported by credible evidence, there's no logical reason to accept it as truth. I doubt seriously, however, that it is--the practice you attribute to Sharia Law isn't mentioned in any Islamic doctrine. But on the other hand, the Christian bible contains numerous example of fathers "breaking in" their daughters.

It is not an accepted practice anymore within Christian circles to marry underage brides. It was once considered acceptable, yet over the years it has changed. Islam has not made such changes. It still allows and even encourages such in many sects of that religion.
