I'm Home

It took 2 days but we are back in Oregon getting ready for a predicted 95 degree day tomorrow or the next day.  We have been gone nearly 3 weeks but I stayed in touch with my laptop.   The first day we drove 10 hours and we left on the 4th because we thought there might be less traffic on the road and we were right.  We sailed through with very little traffic - practically had the road to ourselves and we were in time to see fireworks in the sky at Shasta.   It was just only 6 hours today on the road but it was much busier.
 
Hope you all had a good Independence Day celebration.
 
I need some help with the weeds............Yikes...............where did they all come from while we were gone!  Lucky we got someone to mow the grass for us.

It's always good to get home after a long trip and I, for one, am glad you are home safe and sound.

Only 95? LOL We hit 104 for a high. Today will be hooter and tomorrow will be as hot.

Welcome home. I love Shasta and Lassen.  Spent a week in Lassen when the kids were little, and they still talk about our trip there.
