Just a memory now...

my last lilac bloom is now gone...too much rain this spring, not enough cold last year to form good buds, so we have very few blossoms...but they were gorgeous while they were here and smelled divine...I took this photo a couple weeks ago..

I didn't get a single bloom on mine this year. They are pretty and smell nice.

I use to love to sit on the porch and smell the fragrance of a lilac bush as a gentle wind found its way through its leaves. A glass of wine, the chirp of a bird and only my memories to keep me company.
