This video really got to me as we had an English Mastiff called "Duke" years ago and he was such a beautiful dog.  This one is a black mastiff....maybe a Neapolitan mastiff - ours was beige with black face.

What a sweet story.  I love Neapolitan Mastiffs  but my husband is against any dog w/ jowls and droopy face...
 
Saw a gorgeous Great Dane out walking today...that's another dog I love, but................................................

Our Duke had a beautiful nature but his long jowls were always dripping with slobber and it flys and sticks when they shake their heads.  He also snored so loud at night you would think there was a freight train running through the house.  Their life span is 6-9 years which is so sad and our Duke just made it to 9.
